Sunday workshop with Katharine Guerrier
Vivien Finch “Quilts in My Life”
Vivien Finch started sewing as a child (she had “the best dressed dolls in Totley”). She has been a quilt teacher and has worked tirelessly for the Quilters’ Guild. Vivien has been Area Rep in three counties; editor of The Quilter for 17 years; Guild Trustee; Education Officer and because of the Guild has travelled all over the UK as well as abroad, including, most recently, Japan. So she will have plenty to tell us, as well as lots of quilts to show.
Katherine Guerrier “Quilter’s Journey”
Katherine regularly exhibits in this country and abroad (including at FOQ and Paducah USA). Her work has featured in many books and magazines. She has taught City and Guilds courses as well as being a national and international teacher. She promises an informal “hands on” tour of the many quilts she has made over the last 20 years, with related stories and tips as well as opportunities to ask questions.
