Anne Morgan

I have been making patchwork quilts since the mid 70's in a traditional way using left over dressmaking fabrics. I still use this method only the scraps are much smaller producing miniature quilts.
I do make larger quilts from premature baby to about six by five feet for the Linus Project where seriously ill children receive them to snuggle in when life is really bad.
I am now the Co-ordinator of the Miniature group and spend time telephoning the members to find our about them. We are after all like a large friendly patchwork group that most people attend regularly and we pass on tips and help in anyway we can.
Quilting has helped me through the tough times of my life and now I have to have my daily 'fix'!
