Jenny Hornsey

I started quilting in the 1960's with a traditional Grandmother's Garden quilt with 1 inch hexagons using a black background to show off the coloured fabrics.
I taught basic patchwork in the 70's and 80's at evening classes and was a founder member of the Guild.
After a 15 year break from quilting, I retired from full-time work in 2000 and took up patchwork again, founding a U3A group and now belong to several groups doing occasional informal teaching.
I prefer traditional designs and hand quilting whilst I can still hold a needle!
