Leah Cox

Originally I'm from the Deep South of the USA - Mississippi, Arkansas, and New Orleans. Then I lived on the Continent for a number of years. 'Love to travel and to meet other needlewomen.

When I was in my twenties I knitted, crocheted, and embroidered. Then life came along and my needlework came to a halt until about 10 years ago when I married an Englishman and moved to England. Since I've been here I've done a bit of knitting and crochet, lots of embroidery, and began my love of stumpwork, needlelace, goldwork, hand and machine quilting, hand applique, crazy quilting, mixed media, etc.

I'm a member of the Embroiderers' Guild as well as the Quilters' Guild and their Contemporary Quilt group. Through these groups I've met lots of wonderful, talented ladies. One of my greatest pleasures is being able to view their work at the exhibitions I'm able to attend.
