Samantha Jones

I take a thrifty approach to textiles and often work in collaboration with client’s own favourite textiles. I firmly believes in makers sharing their skills and use traditional techniques of patchwork quilting to create contemporary quilts.

Following a lifelong love of making - in particular sewing and knitting - I graduated in 2008 with a first degree in Fine Art. Inspired by making soft furnishings for my own home and my growing fabric collection, I begun to make for others

Based in Pentyrch, Cardiff, I have had the pleasure of working with St. Fagans National History Museum, Calon Yarns Craft Studios, Yarn ‘n’ Yarn Craft Group, Penarth Knit and Sew and more.

I am Young Quilters Representative for Region Twelve.
