This event takes place on 9th October 2015 from 10:00am to 4:00pm and will take place at Quilt Museum and Gallery, St Anthony's Hall, Peasholme Green, York, YO1 7PW. It is a Guild event being organised by The Quilters' Guild, .
You will have fun making 2 different quilt designs which are great to look at and wonderfully stress-free.
Each star and triangle floats on the background fabric, so there’s never a danger of losing the points in the joining seams…..how good is that?
The Tumbling Triangles block will be tackled first and then later in the day you have the chance to make a Floating Star block. Both blocks are ideal for either structured quilts or scrap quilts, and there will lots of tips and suggestions for ways of taking the basic ideas and reapplying or adapting them in future projects.
Sewing machines will be provided and a requirements list will be sent out on booking.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
