Margaret Styles

Retired teacher who loves fabric and collects it given half a chance. I was taught to sew by my mum and have always made clothes but only recently took to patchwork and quilting. After leaving work I took a degree in textile design at Bolton and focussed on natural fibres and dyeing during my final year. I'm interested in anything to do with fibres and have also taken up spinning. Who knows where it will all lead?

And during lockdown I made four stashbuster lap quilts, two cot quilts with embroidery and the sampler quilt that we started at my class fir Bambers sewing in Eccles.
