Like so many I made my first quilt as a teenager in hexagons cut from Laura Ashley fabric. Since then my quilting journey has led me into teaching and in 2012 I established Brighton Fashion and Textile School to offer City and Guilds accredited courses in Patchwork and Quilting.
My own area of research and practice is documented in my recent book Bojagi:Design and techniques in Korean Textile Art, the culmination of 10 years of study. http://www.bojagiuk.com
I regularly contribute to articles for magazines and have worked as technical editor on a number of books about quilting. As a qualified Quilt Judge it is a great privilege to be asked to judge other makers work.
