The Quilters’ Guild is an
educational charity which is reflected in everything we do, whether that's information
to members, exhibitions, lectures at regional days or hands on activities at
coffee mornings. What we don’t currently have is a programme enabling those who
would like to develop their patchwork and quilting capability to do so.
With our commitment to ensure a vibrant future for patchwork and quilting, we intend to provide a range of educational opportunities.
In our fortieth year, I’d like to ask you to take part in the President’s "£40 for 40 years" fundraiser. Would you, or your group, donate or hold a fundraising event to raise £40 to ensure that our education programme is appropriately funded? The President’s Appeal seeks to reach the goal of raising £20,000 to develop a professional standard education programme that can be accessed by quilters, and would be quilters, everywhere.
Ways in which you can donate:
· Cheque - made out to " The Quilters' Guild of The British Isles" marked '40 for 40' on the reverse.
· On line - https://quiltersguild.org.uk/donate/donation select ‘40 for 40’
· Debit/Credit card - please ring the office on 01904 613242
· Cash - unfortunately we will only be able to accept cash at Conference and Festival of Quilts.
Gift Aid is an invaluable additional source of funding for the Guild and in this case it turns your wonderful £40 into an amazing £50 for our education programme, at no extra cost to you or the Guild.
If you are eligible to make a gift aid donation please use our donations page (which includes gift aid) https://quiltersguild.org.uk/donate/donation or download the gift aid form Gift Aid declaration sign and send it to us.
