We are delighted to announce that The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles has been awarded substantial financial support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The funding will mainly be used to develop a new website.
The Guild also received small contributions towards the cost of
- purchasing ancillary equipment
- securing professional advice to enable The Quilters’ Guild to develop virtual services to its members
- producing one or two short videos
- photographing our Accredited Museum Collection
Thanks to National Lottery players, £30 million is raised every week for good causes. One of these is heritage of local and national importance. By playing The National Lottery, people up and down the country are making an amazing contribution towards combatting the impact of COVID-19 on local communities across the UK.
